Welcome to the 7th Pan-European LESI YMC Event. Welcome to London.
This event will bring together over 100 of the next generation of IP and licensing practitioners from all over the world. Last year’s event saw attendees from all over Europe as well as the USA, Canada, Hong Kong and Africa. Participants will include business professionals as well as professionals in private practice.
Following the success of previous YMC events, this year’s event will have a full one-day agenda covering the most important business related topics in IP and licensing, as well as an exciting evening of celebrations. The event is timed ideally for those wishing to stay in London for the AIPPI meeting and follows immediately after the 2019 LES Pan European Conference in Madrid (taking place from 10 September to 12 September).
The organising committee are delighted to present a programme covering a full range of topics through several keynote sessions and three panel sessions. Participants will hear directly from businesses, including our keynote speech from one of the UK’s leading award-winning young entrepreneurs, Alex Schey (CEO of Vantage Power). In addition, participants will hear from some of Europe’s thought leaders about the latest developments in technology rich businesses, IP and licensing. The panel sessions will see an international line up of experts providing new perspectives on the business of IP, including European IP litigation, AI and Robotics and the interface of IP and Competition law.
The event will take place in the historic “Unilever Building” on the banks of the river Thames, at the hub of legal London and between the City and the West End.
The event will provide unrivalled networking opportunities with like-minded and highly motivated individuals who are earmarked as the future of their organisations. Attendees will meet IP and technology rich business people, IP and licensing specialists, private practice IP and licensing lawyers as well as other professional advisers in the IP business. Networking opportunities include an invitation only in-house counsel breakfast, two coffee breaks, lunch, drinks at the venue after the event as well as an evening of entertainment including drinks and dinner at a nearby venue.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors the event is free to LES members. Non-members can attend for a fee or, alternatively, those based in the UK and Ireland can join LESI Britain and Ireland for the remainder of the subscription year for a reduced price.
